Creative Movement: 3-6 years
Explores the use of time, space, and energy with locomotor and non-locomotor movements. Through the use of props, stories, rhymes, and instruments, the student will gain basic ballet and modern vocabulary.
Ballet I: 7-10 years
The student will begin to build upon the basic skills of Ballet while conditioning the body in strength, flexibility, and coordination.
Modern I: 7-12 years and Contemporary Modern: 13 years and up
Guides the student to explore movement through breath and flow, the parallel positions, release and capture, and improvisation while conditioning the body in strength, flexibility, and coordination.
Tap: 3-12 years
Utilizes tap shoes to explore rhythm and tone while building speed with basic tap steps to more complex combinations. May integrate character dance.
